PABs bill re-introduced

The bill planning $5bn of private activity bonds (PABs) for state-owned buildings P3s has been re-introduced to the House and Senate

First introduced in July 2016, the bill enables private investment to be combined with tax-exempt financing for P3s involving schools, libraries, courthouses, prisons, post offices and other government-owned buildings.

It was re-introduced by US senators Dean Heller (R-NV) and Bill Nelson (D-FL), and in the House by congressmen Mike Kelly (R-PA) and Earl Blumenauer (D-OR).... Read more
